A specialized trauma-informed program addressing the long-term psychological, social, and identity impact of the transatlantic slavery past. This initiative focuses on breaking intergenerational cycles shaped by historical trauma, restoring identity, and building emotional resilience in youth and communities.
Through structured training, dialogue, and healing interventions, participants are equipped to recognize inherited patterns, shift destructive behaviors, and develop healthy identity, purpose, and leadership.
Key Focus Areas:
• Trauma-informed group healing sessions
• Cultural & historical awareness education
• Identity restoration & self-worth development
• Breaking intergenerational behavioral patterns
• Leadership development for youth and communities
• Reintegration support for vulnerable youth (including justice-involved)
• Community dialogue & transformation sessions
This program is implemented under the support of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment of the Netherlands, addressing the transatlantic slavery legacy in the Caribbean.
